3. Quarters for Kids: We have $73.75. The Jar is on the Lord’s Supper table. Please give your quarters (or Dollars) today. We must turn them in at the Senior Adult Rally at Crossroads on September 13! Everyone try to give something (large or small) next Sunday.
4. Our 100th Anniversary is 2017! One of the things we would like to do is to publish a First Baptist Church Cookbook. The last one was made about 30 years ago. Ladies (and men), we would like for you to contribute your favorite recipes – a couple for each category: Soups, Salads, Vegetables, Main Dishes and Desserts. Please submit yours by November 1. We would like to have it ready to send to the printer by March. A Box will be available to put your recipes in. It will be in the Ladies’ Classroom across from the Library. Please TYPE your recipes and PROOF them!!!
5. Looking ahead: On September 4 Damon and Lisa Hill will share their Testimony about their recent Mission Trip to Malawi
6. Looking ahead: Annual Ladies’ Day Celebration at Horatio Elementary School Cafeteria will be Saturday, September 17 at 9:00 am. Register by September 2 (870-784-8987). Joyce Arnold or Susan Allen on Facebook. 4 speakers and 4 music groups!. Light breakfast and lunch. Cost $10.
7. Our church hosts the 5th Quarter after the Football Game on Friday, September 9 (Outlaws vs. Go-Devils)
